While a vast majority of Australia’s amateur cooks aspire to achieving MasterChef success, Kylie Millar has taken her appearance on that much-loved series to the next level.
After her appearance on season 4 in 2012, Kylie ventured out of the TV kitchen and into the world of fine dining, establishing a career by working with many brilliant chefs and in many great kitchens around the world. Her CV features working with mentors such as Darren Purchese of Melbourne’s Burch & Purchese, Mark Best and Matt Germanchis of Pei Modern, Sydney, Andoni Aduriz at the world-famous Mugaritz in San Sebastian, Spain and now with Ben Shewry at Attica in Melbourne.
Being creative and innovative with food is Kylie’s passion.
“You can bend the rules when it comes to cooking, and for me as long as you get a smile when you serve the plate up to someone, that’s the icing on the cake.”
